The New York Times ran a piece entitled "Invisible Child" focusing on one of Partnership with Children’s students, who lives in a homeless shelter and finds support in our programs at her school.
We are excited to receive a Social Services Block Grant so that we can better prepare our schools and communities to care for our kids in the event of future disasters like Hurricane Sandy.
"We are honored to have worked with Partnership With Children for the past 12 years… because of how its special blend of social work, in-class work, and therapy help students thrive. Your students have improved attendance, they are promoted to the next grade, they do better on exams… The Partnership social workers are among the very best, and when there is a child suffering, that is what’s needed."
