Partnership with Children's Program Director George Lavezzary, LMSW, has just been named New Yorker of the Week by NY1 News. See the NY1 feature and to learn how George helps "students overcome life's barriers to learning."
On Thursday, June 4th, Partnership with Children hosted its Annual Spring Gala, raising $1.16 million to support its social work services for more than 17,000 New York City school children.
"We are honored to have worked with Partnership with Children for the past 12 years… because of how its special blend of social work, in-class work, and therapy help students thrive. Your students have improved attendance, they are promoted to the next grade, they do better on exams… The Partnership social workers are among the very best, and when there is a child suffering, that is what’s needed."
